Hudson Valley COVID deaths exceed 1,900

HUDSON VALLEY – COVID-19 deaths in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region have reached 1,956, according to the latest information from the state and county health departments.

Westchester County continues to have the highest number of deaths at 1,049.

Rockland County has had 403 people succumb to the deadly virus.

Orange County reported 329 deaths.

Dutchess County had 70 people pass from the virus.

In Putnam County, 45 people have died.

Ulster County has had 37 people die.

There were 17 deaths in Sullivan County.

A total of 14 people died in Columbia County and three people have passed away in Greene County.
