SUFFERN – The board and staff of the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education are honoring Alan Moskin with a video tribute.  The project that took nearly a year to complete is called “Alan Moskin: One Liberator’s Testimony.”

According to a statement released by the board, “This short video packs a punch, just like Alan. Combining his testimony with archival film footage, we were able to create a film that illustrates the realities of Alan’s experiences as a young American soldier in the 71st Division of Patton’s 3rd Army who liberated a concentration camp. We offer this important teaching tool to all those who would have heard Alan speak this spring at the dozens of events scheduled before the COVID-19 pandemic began – and to all who wish to remember his service and bravery.”

The museum is asking that people share the video on Monday, May 4, which is the anniversary of the day Alan Moskin and his fellow soldiers liberated the Gunskirchen concentration camp.
