Hudson Valley death toll continues to rise

HUDSON VALLEY – Another 21 people died from CONVID-19 in Westchester County on Tuesday, according to the State Health Department. That brings to 983, the number of people to have succumbed to the deadly virus.

In Rockland County, 387 people have died. That is up seven people from the previous day.

Orange County has lost 306 people as seven more have died.

In Dutchess County, 65 people died, up one from the previous day.

Forty-five people died in Putnam County, up by two.

In Ulster County, 24 people have died, up one from the day before.

Sullivan County has lost 22 residents, up one from the previous day.

Columbia County remained the same at 14 dead and Greene County also saw no additional deaths, remaining at two.

State health officials are hoping that those numbers decline in the days ahead.
