COVID-19 death toll continues to rise

HUDSON VALLEY – The number of people to die in the Hudson Valley from COVID-19 continues to rise.

The State Health Department reported Wednesday that 838 people succumbed to the deadly virus in Westchester County.

There have been 334 deaths in Rockland County and 256 in Orange County.

Dutchess County has seen 53 deaths from COVID-19 while there have been 38 in Putnam County.

Nineteen people have died in Ulster County while 14 have died in each Sullivan and Columbia counties.

Two people succumbed to the deadly virus in Greene County.
