EAST FISHKILL – Motorists are advised that a single lane closure has begun on the Taconic State Parkway northbound between Carpenter Road and Exit 51 (Beekman Road) so that crews can perform construction activities, weather permitting. The work is scheduled to be completed later this spring.
Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
