NEW WINDSOR – Over 100 Orange County businesses participated in the Orange County Industrial Development Agency’s (IDA) second free webinar on Thursday to help local businesses affected by COVID-19.

The webinar included remarks by Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney and the Small Business Administration, as well as other experts, on the stimulus package for small business.

The second free webinar served as a follow-up to the IDA’s first free webinar earlier this month which drew over 200 businesses. It answered questions that helped businesses understand and utilize the resources available to them to keep their business operational.

“Small businesses are essential to our local economy. We continue to work closely with several small businesses in Orange County through one-on-one consultations and informative webinars to help them get back on their feet during this hard time,” said Laurie Villasuso, Chief Executive Officer of the Orange County Industrial Development Agency.

Thank you to the Orange County IDA for hosting these informative webinars for Hudson Valley small business owners, and for working collaboratively at the state and federal levels to ensure our local businesses have the tools they need during this pandemic. I will continue to fight for more robust funding and resources for our small businesses in Congress,” said Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney.

The next webinar, focused on helping businesses find ways to thrive in the new environment, will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 9 AM.  For more information on how the Orange County IDA can help your business, call 845-234-4192 or email us at business@ocnyida.com.
