SUFFERN – Non-profit Northeast Face Shield Project delivered 500 3D-printed face shields to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern on Friday.

State Senator David Carlucci (D, Nanuet) connected the organization with the hospital. “The Northeast Face Shield Project’s work is critical in protecting our health care professionals from COVID-19,” he said. “This project is run by volunteers and people using technology to help their fellow New Yorkers in our greatest time of need.”

“Face shields are desperately needed by health care workers who are fighting on the front lines to save the lives of others,” said Adam Kaufman, Northeast Face Shield’s regional coordinator. “Moving forward, we want to do more and attain state funding to produce a great number of face shields and bring costs down.”
