GOSHEN – In her more than 40 years working in the healthcare industry, Joan Cusack McGuirk has never seen anything the likes of COVID-19.

I had more IQ beds in this organization that I ever dreamed of. We had an 18-bed IC unit. We opened up a second unit, which was a medical-surgical unit and the staff throughout the organization, came up and took additional training and they are working, we ae working, close to 40 ventilated patients,” she said.

Cusack-McGuirk said Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital was just listed among the 25 best places to work in healthcare in the country.
