Assemblyman Schmitt's office has teamed with others to provide meals to seniors and others during COVID-19.

WASHINGTONVILLE – The Office of Assemblyman Colin Schmitt (R,C,I-New Windsor), Woodbury Mayor Tim Egan, local officials, Carpenters Local 279, and the Falkirk Estate & Country Club have started delivery of over 70 meals to seniors and vulnerable households in need in the Village of Woodbury and across the 99th Assembly District.

Nikki Schmitt represented her husband, Assemblyman Colin Schmitt, on the first day of food delivery as he is currently activated for the COVID-19 mission with the Army National Guard. The meals will be delivered twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) during the COVID-19 crisis at no charge to seniors and vulnerable households thanks to the generosity of Falkirk Estate & Country Club.

The members of the Carpenters Local 279 have committed a significant number of volunteers to help deliver these meals for the duration of the program.
