CARMEL – Putnam County, which until now had not reported all of the impacts of the coronavirus on county residents, Wednesday reported seven deaths and a total of 213 confirmed positive cases.
The statistics related to the deaths date back to March 6 but were not released until now.
Some of the data is being provided to the county by Putnam Hospital.
“We urge residents to stay home, stay safe and help flatten the curve to ease the burden on the health care system,” said Peter Kelly, president of Putnam Hospital in Carmel.
