POUGHKEEPSIE – MidHudson Regional Hospital in the Town of Poughkeepsie has opened a drive-through COVID-19 sample collection site. This testing facility will join the ones currently operating at Dutchess Stadium – Intermodal Center in Fishkill and Pulse MD in Poughkeepsie.

The hospital facility is available by appointment only, and residents can call (845) 303-2727 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday. Callers will receive a screening and can set up an appointment to get their sample collected, if appropriate. Results may take up to five days to receive.

Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro said they are “grateful to our partners at MidHudson Regional for bringing us one more testing site, right in Poughkeepsie. We know that access to testing will help us slow community transmission of COVID-19 and save lives.”

To participate, residents must receive pre-screening, a prescription, and additional information from their doctor to have their sample collected. Testing is done offsite and results may take five days to receive.
