GOSHEN – From now through Saturday, April 4, there will be lane closures and extended work hours on Route 17 in both directions between Exit 125 (Route 17M/South Street) and Exit 126 (Route 94) and on Route 17M between South Street and Old Chester Road, in the Town of Goshen, as work continues on new interchange ramps to Route 17 westbound.

The work is being performed for access to the Legoland theme park, which has been under construction.

That work was halted just days ago when Governor Andrew Cuomo declared that all non-essential construction statewide be suspended because of the pandemic.

Legoland officials had planned a July 4 grand opening of the amusement park, but that date remains uncertain.
