Two of the victims were long-term residents of Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center who had been previously hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19.

Since then, 16 residents and two staff members tested positive and are currently recovering at their homes.

Montgomery Nursing and Rehab “remains committed to providing a safe environment of care,” center officials said. “Ensuring our residents are cared in a safe and healthy environment is our top priority.”
