MID-HUDSON – In a further effort to control the spread of the coronavirus, Governor Cuomo, Friday, ordered non-critical construction projects halted.

That includes the Legoland amusement park, which is under construction in the Town of Goshen.

Construction on the new Vassar Brothers Medical Center facility on the City of Poughkeepsie campus will continue as it is considered an essential project.

Legoland officials had announced July 4 as the official opening date for the massive theme park, but that target will likely not be met.

The Vassar project is expected to be completed later this year.
