MONTICELLO – The latest coronavirus data in Sullivan County shows 68 confirmed cases, 161 mandatory quarantine cases, and 135 precautionary quarantine cases, County Public Health Director Nancy McGraw said Thursday.

Sheriff Michael Schiff had advice for residents who may not feel well.

“Quarantine yourself appropriately. If you start to show signs, following the instructions. We have talked about getting some written instructions that could be handed out. We have also talked about some robocalling through different layers that we might be able to use to get this information out,” he said. “Up until now we are seeing full cooperation. We are not seeing a problem.”

Schiff said summer residents have come up and appear to be staying to themselves and not traveling around, overwhelming shopping or the hospital.
