MONROE – Noting the Village of Monroe has a diverse population with many different languages spoken, Mayor Neil Dwyer has drafted a letter with coronavirus information in five languages.

The mayor said he wanted to get the word out to all segments of the community.

“It’s very important that we communicate everything good, bad or indifferent, so they can make decisions for them and their families,” he said.

Mayor Dwyer’s letter has been translated from English into Polish, Russian, Spanish, Yiddish, and Hebrew in hopes of allaying any concerns residents of his village may have about the virus.
