KINGSTON – Two Saugerties residents have been arrested following a long-term cocaine sales investigation by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team occurring at local social establishments in the towns of Woodstock and Saugerties.
Conell Wise, 41, and Ashlee Petruski, 27, were arrested on Friday, March 13 following a ‘buy-bust’ operation in the Town of Saugerties.
Investigators conducted searches at two residences in Saugerties and recovered a large amount of cocaine, packaging materials, and scales. A loaded firearm with a defaced serial number was found during the search of one of the residences.
Wise was charged with felonies of criminal possession of a weapon – a loaded firearm, two counts of criminal possession of a firearm – one count for possessing a defaced firearm, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Wise was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bind. A probation violation is also pending against Wise.
Petruski was released on an appearance ticket.
