ORANGE COUNTY – Both Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County and the Newburgh Armory Unity Center prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of the communities they serve. As a result, they are postponing their free six-session gardening series entitled Seed to Supper – Gardening on a Budget. They will be rescheduling this program, so if you are interested and want to receive information about the new dates, please contact Lisa Rittweger, at (845) 978-8845, or email her at lrittweger@newburgharmory.org.

Seed to Supper – Gardening on a Budget will be held at the Newburg Armory Unity Center located at 321 South William Street in Newburgh. Participants will learn how to plan, plant and care for their garden as well as how to harvest and cook the vegetables that they grow. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive seeds, plants, and a few gardening tools. Classes will be taught in English with Spanish translation available. Printed materials will be available in Spanish. Registration is required.

To make sure that you receive information when the Seed to Supper Program is rescheduled, please contact Lisa Rittweger at (845) 978-8845, or email her at: lrittweger@newburgharmory.org
