Metro-North bans alcohol for St. Patrick’s Day

NEW YORK – On Tuesday, March 17, Metro-North’s 24-hour alcohol ban will be enforced on trains, platforms, and train stations.

MTA Police will be on-site throughout their territory, including Grand Central Terminal, to enforce the no-alcohol rule.

The 24-hour ban will be in place from 12:01 AM, Tuesday, 17, through 12:01 AM, Wednesday, March 18.
