NEWBURGH – A male pedestrian was struck and killed on the Thruway between exits 16 and 17 northbound, according to State Police.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the Town of Newburgh.
The Thruway Authority said all lanes were blocked on the northbound side in the town during an investigation of the incident, which was reported after 1 a.m.
