Rescuers carry the victim to awaiting EMS personnel

TUXEDO – A female hiker was rescued on Saturday after she fell 30 feet off a cliff side while hiking in an area off State Route 17A in the Town of Tuxedo, town police said.

Tuxedo first responders including police ambulance corps and fire department were assisted by Palisades Interstate Parkway Police, Greenwood Lake Fire Department, Palisades Interstate Park rangers and Hackensack University Medical Center medivac in rescuing the woman.

Police did not publicly identify the Brooklyn resident. Her condition was not immediately known.
