NEWBURGH – The Centers for Disease Control has begun its exposure assessment in the City of Newburgh.

The study will provide new information about PFAS exposure to Newburgh residents and community participation is important. Residents who receive a letter, phone call, or home visit are asked to participate and call the number provided.

Letters have been sent to selected households inviting them to participate.

Representatives have started calling those selected households and will return to Newburgh starting on March 10 visiting select households of those people who have not been reached by mail or phone.
