NEWBURGH – One person was killed and another injured in an auto accident on Fostertown Road in the Town of Newburgh, authorities indicated Wednesday night.
Initial reports said the accident occurred in the area of 364 Fostertown Road in the early evening.
One of two people injured was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead, authorities said.
Newburgh Town Police investigated the accident with assistance from the State Police. Official police information is expected on Friday.
