Yonkers man sentenced to prison for several street robberies

WHITE PLAINS – A Westchester County man will spend 11 ½ to 20 ½ years in state prison for robbing three victims and assaulting one of them.

William Hines, 52, of Yonkers was found guilty following a jury trial in December before County Court Judge Anne Minihan.

The crimes occurred on three different days, January 6, February 4, and February 12, all in 2019.

Hines was convicted of robbery, assault, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and robbery.
