WASHINGTON – Congressman Antonio Delgado (D, NY-19) has joined with other House members and
has introduced legislation to create an online tool on the US Environmental Protection Agency’s website for Americans with a private well to find the resources to test their drinking water and understand what the results mean.
The first-term lawmaker said the tool would promote transparency and streamline EPA resources to help people potentially exposed to toxic PFAS substances and other contaminants.
Joining Delgado in the bi-partisan effort are Dan Kildee (MI, 05), Mike Gallagher (WI, -8), Ron Kind (WI, 03) and Elissa Slotkin (MI, 08).
