BEACON – On Sunday afternoon, Beacon police and firefighters responded to reports of a truck that had left the roadway and struck a house at 930 Wolcott Avenue.
The U-Haul pickup truck narrowly missed striking the gas meter at the house. The driver was transported to the hospital by EMS.
Police are investigating the incident.
