CATSKILL – First-term Congressman Antonio Delgado is planning to seek re-election this fall.
While he has not made a formal announcement, he said on Wednesday, that his main emphasis is to continue the people’s work in Washington and in the district.
“My focus is just making sure that I keep doing the work. When I am home I am talking about the issues. I’m learning from the constituents. I’m focusing on the needs on the ground and I have to be relentless in that regard, whether it’s broadband, whether it’s PFAS contamination, whether it’s helping develop our workforce, whether it’s tackling climate change,” he said.
The Democrat lawmaker has spent the past several days attending meetings and touring his district.
