NEW CITY – The man, who stands accused of stabbing Finkelstein Memorial Library security guard Sandra Wilson of Nyack to death inside the Spring Valley library on February 18, has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury on a murder charge.

Blanchard Glaudin, 25, who is homeless, allegedly used a knife to fatally stab Wilson in the chest and body while she was working at the library. She was 52.

“As Rockland County says goodbye to Sandra Wilson at her funeral service, I can state that Mr. Glaudin will be held accountable for the horrific murder of Sandra Wilson,” said District Attorney Thomas Walsh, II. “My team will continue its pursuit of justice. I can only hope this news brings some comfort to the family of Ms. Wilson.”

The funeral service for Sandra Wilson was held at noon on Monday at the First Baptist Church in Spring Valley as a celebration of her life.
