Newburgh Town Police investigate assault incident

NEWBURGH – Newburgh Town Police are investigating what has initially been described as an assault and stabbing Saturday morning.

Police have yet to release any information on the incident that i9s said to have occurred at 8 Old Mill Road before sunrise.

A police radio transmission said a victim was being taken to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for treatment.
