MAMAKATING – An accident on Route 17 eastbound near exit 112 in the Town of Mamakating this morning involved a school bus and pickup truck and officials said five minors and two adults were injured.
The bus rolled over.
The accident involving a Rolling V company bus occurred at around 7:40 a.m.
Several police, fire, ambulance and EMS agencies and personnel were on the scene as the highway eastbound is shut down.
The extent of the injuries were not immediately known and the cause of the accident is u under investigation.
