GOSHEN – The Orange County Republican Committee has endorsed candidates for the November elections.
Incumbent Assemblymen Karl Brabenec (98th District), Colin Schmitt (99th District), and Brian Miller (101st District), were all backed as was Andrew Gauza, who will challenge incumbent Democrat Jonathan Jacobson in the 104th District.
Michael Martucci was endorsed in the 42nd State Senate District, currently represented by Democrat Jenn Metzger.
For Orange County Court Judge the Republican committee endorsed Hyun Chin Kim and for family court, incumbent Carol Klein.
No candidates were selected for the 39th State Senate District, currently held by Democrat James Skoufis, and the 100th Assembly District, represented by Democrat Aileen Gunther.
The committee also endorsed Courtney Canfield Greene for a four-year term as Republican elections commissioner.
