LIVINGSTON – Fire late Friday night leveled a commercial building with attached apartments on County Route 31 near Route 9 in the Town of Livingston.
Some 30 fire departments battled the blaze that was reported just before 11 p.m.
State Police and Livingston firefighters were first on the scene and safely removed all residents with no reported injuries. The Red Cross also responded to assist those displaced victims secure temporary shelter.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is continuing.
