MID-HUDSON – As the political season begins to kick into high gear, a number of endorsements have been made.
The City of Middletown Republican Committee has endorsed candidates in the November 3 election: Chele Farley for the 18th Congressional District, Michael Martucci for the 42nd State Senate seat; Family Court Judge Carol Klein, Hyun Chin Kin for Orange County Court judge, and Courtney Canfield Greene as the Republican Orange County Commission of Elections.
Laborers Local 754 has endorsed State Senator David Carlucci for the 17th Congressional District seat. Rep. Nita Lowey will be retiring for the post.
The Westchester County Democratic Committee has endorsed District Attorney Anthony Scarpino for re-election.
