CHATHAM – State Police were called to assist Columbia County Emergency Services on Park Row in the Village of Chatham around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 27 for a report of a suspicious and possibly hazardous situation.
Agencies involved exercised an overabundance of caution by closing access to Park Row until further notice, but police said there is no danger to Park Row residents of the surrounding community.
Police did not disclose the nature of the concern but said authorities will continue to investigate any possible criminal activity involved.
