Beacon train station overpass closed for renovations

BEACON – Commuters who use the Beacon train station may have to walk a little further as the overpass is closed for renovations for about a month.

Metro-North said customers need to allow additional time to access the platform via the stairway or elevator from the underpass during that time.

The nature of the renovations and the cost were not immediately available.
