PORT CHESTER – A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metro-North Railroad train Sunday night at around 10:20 in Port Chester.
The incident occurred in the area of the train station.
A railroad spokeswoman said the train was the 9:58 p.m. from Stamford. Passengers were transferred to another train about 45 minutes after the incident and there were some delays on the line.
The spokeswoman said there was no criminality involved in the incident.
