Candidates in November elections endorsed

HUDSON VALLEY – A number of endorsements have been made for candidates in the November election.

Yonkers Mayor Michael Spano has endorsed Democratic former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg for president of the United States.

The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 has announced its support of Democratic State Senator David Carlucci to succeed Congresswoman Nita Lowey in New York’s 17th Congressional District. Lowey is retiring at the end of this term.

The Greene County Democratic Committee has unanimously endorsed Michelle Hinchey for the 46th State Senate District post.

The Dutchess County Conservative Party has endorsed a slate of candidates:

  • Donald Trump for president of the United States
  • Michael Pence for vice president of the United States
  • Chele Farley for the Congressional District seat
  • Susan Serino for the State Senate 41st District
  • Kieran Lalor for the 105th State Assembly District
  • Andrew Gauzza for the 104th State Assembly District seat
  • Peter Forman for Dutchess County Court judge
  • Brian Rudner for Town of East Fishkill Town justice
