Physician’s assistant charged with forcibly touching 11 additional patients

NEW WINDSOR – A physician’s assistant at a New Windsor practice, who was charged last week with forcibly touching a patient, has since been charged with forcibly touching 11 more females at Vitality Psychiatry Group Practice on Route 9W.

After New Windsor Town Police announced the initial arrest of Sean Cavanaugh, 44, on January 13, 11 more women stepped forward with similar complaints. They ranged in age from 17 to 36 years of age.

New Windsor detectives have drawn up 24 additional charges of forcible touching.

Cavanaugh was arraigned on the new charges and 11 more orders of protection were issued against Cavanaugh.
