PLEASANT VALLEY – At approximately 10:48 Friday morning New York State troopers and Pleasant Valley firefighters responded to reports of a four-car accident on State Route 82 near Clinton Corners Road.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel confirmed that four occupants of the involved vehicles were entrapped, with injuries, and firefighters worked to free them. A request for five ambulances to respond to the scene was made. All of the trapped passengers were removed and sent to a local hospital for treatment along with a fifth person injured in the crash.
State Police had Route 82 closed at Clinton Corners Road until 12:12 pm.
