Catskill man arrested for possessing over 200 obscene sexual performances of a child

CATSKILL – State Police at Catskill have arrested a Catskill man with 270 counts of possessing a sexual performance of a child as a felony.

Kevin Cook, 52, was also charged with 238 counts of possessing an obscene sexual performance of a child as a felony.

The arrest of Cook was the result of an investigation by the State Police at Catskill, the Internet Crimes Against Child Task Force and the State Police Computer Crimes Lab.

Cook was arrested on Thursday, January 23. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Athens Town Court later this month.
