POUGHKEEPSIE – Bella Luci Salon in the city of Poughkeepsie owned by Rebecca Lee recently was named to the SALON TODAY 200 for the seventh time by SALON TODAY the leading business media for salon and spa owners.
Bella Luci Salon is a sustainable beauty salon focusing on services and products good for the guest, technician, and the earth. February 2020 also marked fourteen years in business. The salon operates with a green business philosophy, recycling 95% of waste which turns, for example, hair waste into booms for oil spills. The light source is natural and LED-based, the floors are bamboo, the furniture is repurposed, recycled and sustainable woods and products that are organic and vegan when possible.
“This recognition validates everything we work so hard for here at the salon,” said Bella Luci President Rebecca Lee. The owner added that Bella Luci is committed to the local community and the global one as well.
The magazine’s 23rd annual SALON TODAY 200 issue profiled the selected salons in its January/February 2020 edition. The 200 salons were honored for their best business practices from applications submitted by SALON TODAY readers, who represent the 20,000 top-producing salons and spas in the country.
“Our editors recognize that strong business leadership requires the mastery of a number of different best business practices,” said Stacey Soble, editor-in-chief of SALON TODAY. “The salons named to the SALON TODAY 200 for 2020 not only proved they excel in one or more of these areas, but they also have created rewarding environments for their staff members and standout experiences for their clients. Their willingness to share their success offers our readers important business benchmarks and inspirational business-building ideas.”
