BEACON – Dutchess County Court Judge Peter Forman received an award for faithful and dedicated service from the Southern Dutchess Coalition on January 20, 2020.
The award was presented at the 42nd Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration at the Springfield Baptist Church in Beacon. Judge Forman also received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney and City of Beacon Mayor Lee Kyriacou.
“I am honored to be one of the recipients of this prestigious award from the Southern Dutchess Coalition,” said Judge Forman upon receipt of the awards. “This organization has worked for many years in the Beacon area to provide support and guidance for young people in the African-American community. I have worked with them and I appreciate their persistence in helping those who are less fortunate in our community.”
