KINGSTON – November 2019 sales of single-family homes in Ulster County increased year over year in November by 11.7 percent, the Ulster County Board of Realtors reported.
November 2019 sales totaled 152, compared with 136 in November 2018.
The average selling price this past November was $330,587, compared with $298,390 the previous November, 10.8 percent jump.
There were 9.5 percent more available listings in November 2019 (689) as compared with the same month in 2018 (629).
For the first 11 months of 2019, the Board of Realtors said home sales rose by 1.2 percent, with 1,503 homes sold, compared with 1,485 homes sold from January to November 2018.
The average selling price of a single-family house in the first 11 months of 2019 – $300,631 – was an increase of 7.3 percent above the 2018 average of $280,099.
