Man killed in ATV accident identified

Police investigated the discovery of a man's body in Harriman State Park on Sunday

SUFFERN – State Police at the Monroe barracks have identified a man found dead in a wooded area in Suffern as a 58-year-old Suffern resident.

Troopers said Andrew Columbia was riding an ATV up a steep hill when the vehicle flipped and he was thrown from it.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

State Police were assisted by Suffern Village and Ramapo Town Police, State Park Police and the Tallman Fire Department.
