GOSHEN – Phil Royle, the man behind the local approvals and development of the Legoland New York amusement park project in Goshen, has been reassigned to Asia.

He is now development director for Legoland Developments and has moved to Korea where he is in charge of advancing theme park projects in Korea and China.

Legoland New York spokesman Matt Besterman said Royle’s role in Goshen was focused on getting the project off the ground and building a permanent, local senior leadership team, which is now in place.
