Kerhonkson man sentenced to federal prison in crack cocaine conspiracy

ALBANY – A 31-year-old Kerhonkson man was sentenced in Albany federal court on Thursday to 3 ½ years in prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking organization in Ulster County that was dismantled and indicted in March 2019.

As part of his plea, Randy Mandiville admitted that between February and December 2018, in cooperation with co-conspirators, he sold at least 16.8 grams of crack cocaine for the organization in various locations around Ellenville.

The investigation into the ring was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the URGENT task force, State Police, Ellenville Police, and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.

Three other defendants pled guilty in connection with the conspiracy:

  • Luis Curet, 34, faces five to 40 years in prison.
  • Iqwan Mandiville, 26, faces five to 40 years in prison.
  • Edwin Jorge, 46, faces up to 20 years in prison.

Three other people still face charges in the case:

  • Antonio Naveo, also known as “Gratto,” and “Green Eyes,” 38, faces 10 years to life in prison.
  • Margaret Vandyke, 56, faces 10 years to life in prison.
  • Jennifer McCombs, also known as “Jennifer Marks,” 49, faces five to 40 years in prison.
