Family, friends, law enforcement and other state and county judicial officials attended the swearing-in ceremony for Farrell, who will serve a 10-year term on the bench in Sullivan County. “I wanted to continue my public service in a different capacity for the people of Sullivan County,” Farrell said.  “And I believe my expertise and experience in criminal law will serve me well to make sure the folks who come before me are treated fairly and justly.”
