MONTICELLO – Members of the Sullivan County Legislature have offered their “deepest condolences” to the family of Christopher Sorensen, son of Legislator Alan Sorensen.
The body of Christopher Sorensen, 27, was recovered from Kiamesha Lake on Monday morning.
“The entire County of Sullivan offers our thoughts, our prayers and our open arms to the Sorensen family, who would certainly never hesitate to do the same in return. May their beloved memories of Chris, and the lasting support of all of us who love and cherish this endlessly giving family, sustain them throughout this difficult time,” the lawmakers said in a joint statement signed by both incoming and outgoing members.
