Man jumps to his death off Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge

RHINECLIFF – A person jumped to his death off the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge on Wednesday afternoon.

Marine search crews and police from Dutchess and Ulster counties responded to the Hudson River and the body was recovered a short time after the person jumped at around 2:40 p.m.

Dutchess County Sheriff’s Captain John Watterson said identification is pending family notification.
