Montgomery Town Supervisor Brian Maher: Family values

MONTGOMERY – Brian Maher, a former Walden village mayor, has been sworn in as the new Montgomery town supervisor.

The 34-year-old newly elected official said family values will be the foundation of his town operations.

“A lot of problems that we are going to face, we are going to try to tackle, we are going to try to address, but no matter what kind of government solution we provide, there is nothing that can replace traditional family values and that is the bedrock of the Town of Montgomery and that is why I know no matter what the problem is we are going to solve it as long as we can keep an open mind,” he said.

Most recently, Maher was executive director of the not-for-profit Purple Heart Hall, Inc.
